Beautiful Contradictions

O'Allah I submit to you that you may grace me
I go hungry that you may sustain me
I forsake my bed that you may rest me in peace
I give that I may from you receive

O'Allah I bow to you that you may raise me
I travel on the earth that you may take me to heaven
I endure hardship that you may grant me riches
I give my best to others that you may grant my wishes

O'Allah I cry to you that you may pacify me
I praise you to people that you may praise me to angels
I remember you in my heart so your love I may gain
I befriend your friends so may your blessings on me rain

O'Allah I submit to you that you may grace me
O'Allah I bow to you that you may raise me
O'Allah I cry to you that you may pacify me
O'Allah I remain steadfast to you that you may change me
